The correct tire size, speed rating, and load rating may be found on the sidewall of your tire.

• Speed rating indicates a tire’s ability to dissipate heat. Increased heat increases tire wear. A high speed rating will dissipate more heat at higher speeds.
• Load rating indicates the load carrying capacity of a tire. Drivers should never select a tire with a load rating lower than on the original equipment tire.
• Traction—or a tire’s ability to hold the road—is also important in choosing the right tire. Consider where you drive more frequently: dry conditions, wet conditions, or in the snow? Do you experience seasonal extremes? Do you drive short distances or long distances? Your environment and driving conditions determine the right type of replacement tires for you.
